Questions a dealer asks first
Will it open in 2020 Design?
Yes. The 2020 XML export opens as real walls, doors and windows, in place and to size. A 262" × 230" trial room came in exactly in 2020 Design 14.8.3.1. You also get a measured-plan PDF and a layered DXF.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your phone, tablet or computer browser; add it to the home screen and it opens like an app. LiDAR scanning comes with the Capture app for iPhone and iPad Pro.
How accurate is it?
As accurate as your tape. Readings go in to the sixteenth, and a scan is treated as a starting point: every scanned wall is marked "check with tape" until you confirm it.
Does it work with my laser?
Tapes and lasers that pair as a Bluetooth keyboard type straight into the keypad; the REEKON T1M does. The Leica DISTO D1 is tapped in today; a direct link ships with the Capture app.
Who owns my measurements?
You do. Jobs are stored on your device, and only what you choose to export leaves it. Team plans add shared boards the company owns.
Is this part of Blitz?
It's built by the team behind Blitz and the Measure Copy opens straight into it, but it stands on its own. You don't need Blitz to use it.
