Tired of disjointed measuring workflows?
A tape and a clipboard in the kitchen, a camera roll in the truck, a redraw at the desk, and a second visit when a number doesn't add up. One board replaces the lot.
Measure the actual space for kitchen and bath design
- Walk the room wall by wall with the fraction keypad, to 1/16"
- Mark the sink, range and fridge walls as workzones, where the cabinets go
- Square check 24" out; pony walls, islands and aisle checks
- The room opens in 2020 Design as real walls, or in ProKitchen and SketchUp from the DXF and DAE
- Graph paper
- Tape + clipboard
- Redrawing in 2020
- Re-measure visits
- Per-sq-ft drafting
- A generic room scanner
A field resource for project work
- Photos pinned to the wall or opening they show; they travel with the export
- The complete-measure checklist: nothing leaves the site half-measured
- Measure Chat for the question you'd otherwise call the installer about
- Offline on site; every room of the job on one Project Board
- Camera roll
- Texted photos
- Paper checklists
- Calls to the installer
- Site re-visits
- A folder per job
Field to designer, in one afternoon
The measurer, the designer and the installer see the same walls. Nobody rebuilds what the field already saw.
Measure
The measurer walks the kitchen and two baths, pins photos, clears the checklist.
Review
Every room on the Project Board shows Measured, Sketch or To check. The two "check with tape" walls are obvious before anyone leaves.
Design
The designer opens the 2020 XML. Real walls, doors and windows, in place. Cabinets go in the same hour.
Verify
The installer gets the measured-plan PDF with the photos. The sink centerline and the aisle are the numbers on the drawing, not a memory.
Let the client measure before the appointment
A Business user sends a client a For your Home invite or a Confidence Kit. The client measures with the guided walk and the square check; the measurements land on the pro's board. The first week is on the invite. The pro arrives knowing the room.
For your Home, $10.97 a week
- KitchenMeasured · 8 walls
- Primary bathMeasured · 5 walls
- Hall bath2 to check
